Citibank
Cashed money orders and returned check left balance still owed

Citibank employees are skilled and trained in fraud prevention, yet I cashed 3 money orders with the teller having a suspicion of fraud, and the funds were made available immediately.

I owed Citibank 2670.00. I went to the branch with 3000.00 and left with a balance of 1384.14, still owing Citibank 870.00, and my account was active.

I called Citibank 20 days later to see if a check had cleared. I was told yes by the manager, and 4 days later the check was returned.
