I open account in Citibank (US) and my daughter open her account in the Citibank (Russia). We was hoping to transfer money (I am working, she is student). Citibank ask $30 to wire $2000. I deposit money to citibank and fill up all documents. It was accepted by citibank. Citibank call me to confirm.
I did confirm wire. Money was gone from my account and newer show up in Russia (in my daughter's account). Three weeks later I saw deposit to my account $1758.77. I lost $30 $241.23.in addition to this Citibank charge me $10.
I did call costumer service MANY times
I did send E-mails to the Citibank (last of them was not accesable - citibank website did not save them).
I am wiring money to support my family 8 years thru another Bank and I had no problem ever before!
I would like to have my money back and warn another people that Citibank did rip me off.
