I followed a link from a trusted website to a free trial for weight loss products. I was lead to believe from the original page that the products were free for the first 30 day supply. There was no indication on the cellan or colleanse page to the contrary. I paid the shipping and waited patiently for the product. The company was in Los Angeles so I assumed that the product would be shipped from the US. I received product 40 days later from Sweden and had already been billed for the first and second months supply. The second unordered supply was never received.
I instructed my credit card company to stop any further payments which they messed up on and I ended up getting charged for another billing of the cellan plus an overlimit charge from the credit card company that is being disputed at this time. Also the Colleanse and Cellan company charged excessive exchange rate on the US Dollar amount. This is a prime example of "DISHONEST PREDATORY MARKETING" if I have ever seen one. I tried to contact the company but mysteriously their number is not available from my area code. Via e-mail they explained that I should have asked for an extension of their "14 day trial period". Remember I thought that it was 30 days and free. Turns out that a fine print link that is easily missed does indeed say after 14 days you will be charged the full amount. How cool is that when shipping from Sweden takes at least 30 days by ship. (providing customs doesn't get it in the interim). (It is interesting to note here, that the page that I can get to now seems to be quite different from the one I originally ordered from.) I am very disappointed with the behavior of this company. If they had a good product they would not need to resort to this type of marketing. I would highly recommend that you avoid this company at all costs.
