I gave goldsboro tire service the business of putting new tires on my nissan 350z. I was told that the service was going to cost $135. So i dropped the vehicle off at 7:45am on 3/1/10 as a walk-in customer. They called me and let me know that they couldn't find the key to my locking lugnuts and that if they had to remove them with their tool, they may scratch the wheel around that lugnut. I said ok. When picking up the vehicle i was charged $178 (and understandably extra $19.80 for new lugs). $135 plus $19.80 still doesn't add up to $178. I then looked at the job done and noticed much grime and dirt on the wheels.
So i went home and washed the vehicle, then returned to goldsboro tire service to get an answer as to why there were scratches around every wheel on exactly the same place and this doesn't include the scratches around the lugs (the scratches around the lugs were acceptable because i agreed to them possibly happening). These scratches didn't not exsist when dropping off the car that morning. They preceeded to tell me that their machine couldn't have made those scratches, because the machine was made of plastic. They also kept telling me that there was nothing they could do for me. I left disgusted, because i didn't want any money just resolution. I will have to have the wheels totally refinished to fix the problem.
