On June 26, walked into the Bank of America branch in Hampton, NH, ask the teller to cash a pay check from North Shore Comey Productions, I was informed by the teller that a $6 charge would be taken from my cash back to pay for this tranaction, even though the check was drawn on a good account, and was drawn on their bank. I had creditable identification. I was told that if it had been a private check, I wouldn't have been charged. I was also told I could have the check cashed a Walmart for $3, which was 3 miles down the road. Why? This is the same bank that charged their own customers $3 for every ATM transaction as well. If you have money at this bank take it out now.
