Gotcha Marketing: A pop up "free delivery & $5 off if you sign up for email alerts" - only to find a $44.97 order was insufficient. I had to order $45 worth. Not until I got to live chat was I told

Here is the exchange with the live chat help:

Chat helper: Thank you for contacting CoffeeForLess Live Chat. My name is
XXX. How may I help you today?

Me: I just signed up for email alerts because the offer said I
would get $5 off my order and free shipping. Now it says I must spend $45. I am
. 03 away - really? Can you help?

Chat Helper: I'll be glad to help.
Yes that is correct. The order should be at least $45.

Me: So - even though the "ad" that popped up to get me
to sign up was not clear - your company will do nothing about bypassing the
$. 03 that I am missing to get the $5 off and the free shipping?

Chat helper: You can add an item to reach the minimum amount to avail the
discount and get the free shipping.

Me: So - your answer is no. I'll be sure this is reported on the
web and I will have to order from another company.

Chat helper: We apologize for the confusion.

Me: For $. 03 you lost a customer and
gained a negative review on line. Says a lot about Coffee for less.
