I definitely agree, stay away from prizebook! I joined the site back in July and pretty much just did little things, let my money build up over time.in September I chose to do one of the bigger paying sign-ups (Hughes Net) and then I'd have enough money to cash out. Holidays are coming and as a SAHM, every extra penny counts! Hughes Net came in and installed my internet on October 1st. I had contacted prizebook's support and checked when the credit would go through. They told me within 5days of the installation.
Five days, mind you! November 30th, I FINALLY got te credit! They claimed that due to being on Good Morning America, they had so many new members and support tickets, that's why it took so long. I was patient, since they had been keeping communication open with me. I knew, as a first time cash-out, my account might take up to 7days to be fully checked out and get payment to me. I kept checking in with them and on December 14th they left a post in their Forums. Said all pending payment would be sent out before they "updated" their website.
On December 27th, when I'd had 3 of my posts asking, BEGGING for someone to answer us and tell us what was going on had been removed AGAIN, I went to Support and tod them they need to answer their members and people ar starting to freak. Many wanted to report them here and to the BBB. I cae back on that evening and my account was "flagged" and my money put back into my account.
I contacted the support and asked wat was wrong with my account and what needed to be done to get it unflagged. I contacted them about 6 times, with no response from them. Yet they were responding to people! Another member got their business information and reported them to the BBB and Attourney's general and I told them to email me if they heard anything. I joined freelunchroom.com (another website owned by prizebook) so I could get updates there, as nobody was getting answers on prizebook. I ask in FLR what they are doing for the flagged account members and as I'm browsing prizebook I becomed banned from their website! This occured on Jan. 23.
I am now out the money that was in that account. Which, granted $30-some odd dollars isn't alot, but as I said before to a stay home mom, every bit helps! Also, as of the last week in Jan my IP has been banned from freelunchroom.com as well! And yes, I've contacted the forum administrator several times there as well and have gotten no response!
Stay away from prizebook! Even if they gt their act together, I will not be rejoining them or recommending them.
