I am on my 3rd or 4th APEX converter box that I bought from BEST BUY within a year. I am a PREMIER SILVER customer spending tens of thousands with BEST BUY in the past and am disgusted the employee (Branson a so called manager) at the Katy Texas store. It took them 30 minutes on the computer just to look thru ALL my past purchases to find the 50 dollar item (that i just wanted replaced) and then to tell me it was a few days out of warranty!!! Even the other clerks told me this APEX product is faulty and I should get the other brand which is out of stock each time. Branson is a rude, snotty, unprofessional employee who should have taken notice the amount of bis I do with his store and paying his wage. Several customers have commented on his treatment of customers and he should be fired. On rare occasions I have had to deal with him and I am so surprised his manager is still employed and lets him act this way. It was all I could do not to choke him. I left the store with my faulty box and went across the street to WAL MART and bought the better brand (RCA) for 6 dollars LESS!!! Thanks BEST BUY! By the way i'm calling the CORP office today to let them know as soon as I get my picket signs and handouts I will be in front of their store in protest. Thats where it will hurt the most. Lets roll!!
