Ripoff, no customer service, dsonest fradulent practices

I will start at the beginning so that you understand my problem. We called because we were having a problem and weren't sure what it was. After spending time I took off work to find out what was wrong with their equipment, they said the receiver was bad. They were going to send a new receiver to us and wanted us to pack up the old one and ship it back.

I refused when the person on the phone proceeded to tell me that if there was any damage to it when it got there that we would have to pay for it. At that point I told him I was not going to ship anything back and he needed to send a repairman to the house.

He said he couldn't do that so I told him to put his supervisor on the phone. That person would give me no help either so I told them to put me on with someone who could disconnect our service. At that point he said "Sure I can do that" The person they sent me too was very helpful and set up an appointment for a repairman to come to the house.

He came replaced the bad receiver and we thought it was done. More then a week later a new receiver was left on my porch. I was not home to refuse it as I work 12 to 14 hours everyday.

I told them not to send this thing to us, but they did anyway. It is not my responsibility to get this equipment back to them as I told them not to send it in the first place.

Yesterday I got a letter from this company saying that they had charged $149.00 to our account for this receiver and that we had to send it back to get it removed. It is still not my responsibility to make sure their equipment gets back to them, and I will not be responsible for it. They also expect us to call UPS and make arrangements for them to pick up the package, and pay UPS 10.00 to come and get it. They said they would credit the $10.00 to our account after they get the receiver back. I will not trust them with any more of my money with the way they do business.

I called them very upset but was informed that I had to send back the receiver. I insisted on talking to a supervisor, was put on with one idiot after another. I told her to we wanted to disconnect our service and for them to come and get all their equipment. She said we had to remove it, box it up in boxes they send us and ship it back to them. I will not be responsible for the removal of or for the shipment of their equipment. I went through 4 people and never got a person with any authority. According to the last person they have no corporate office. They can't help me, they can't do anything. They refused to give me any phone numbers for anyone that I could talk to.

Anyone thinking of using DISH NETWORK should reconsider fast.
