Receiver - Dish Network receive

I have dish service in vacation home in Friendship, Wisconsin. The service was put in in Feb. Of 2013. It worked fine that day. I came back on May 7th and the receiver could not acquire a signal. I tried everything they suggested, power down, check connections, cabling, etc... It would not acquire a signal. I called Dish's 800 number and I got technician Hector (ID # BX7). I told him what I did and he asked me what the receiver is doing. I told him it keeps turning itself of and on. He told me we need a new receiver. We were starting to go through the process of getting a new receiver sent to us, when he asked what my pin was. Being that I was away from home, I couldn't remember it. Hector told me to take the receiver home, and call back with the pin, then I could proceed to exchange receivers. Hector said he would put in the log what we did. When I got back home, I called Dish, connected with a technician and explained what happened. She said she did not see this in the log and the only way this could be done is for me to go back to the vacation home, reconnect the receiver and test it again. I explained that I am 4 hours away from there and would not be going up for another month. She said there was nothing she could do and I asked for a supervisor. He repeated the same thing. So now I am stuck with this receiver, while I am still getting charged monthly and cannot cancel because I am in a 2 year contract. I want a new receiver sent to me or cancel my account without a fine for early termination.
