I found an online Midas offer of $29.99 of an auto oil change. I called the Gresham location to confirm the deal and the employee gave me a promise that it would be $29.99 deal "and not a cent more". After driving 30 minutes there, the same employee on the phone told me to sit down and wait. Then after 15 minutes, he keyed in my postal address, my email address, and even inquired me for a copy of my ID. I declined to provide him with my ID. After keying in on my information in the computer, he told me the total amount would be $55 and that was the same employee on the phone. I really felt betrayed and misled into a false promise. It felt like they were more interested in my full personal info than anything else.
