Last month I had purchased a Goldstar Air Conditioner at Walmart and a couple of nights ago it went out on me overnight unable to get it to turn on again.
I called customer service to get the thing repaired and they gave me two places where to go to get it repaired. The first one told me that I had to drag it in to get it repaired and I called them and they told me to call the other place. I did and they said that they don't have their agreement with LG anymore due to LG not keeping their promise to pay properly.
I called back and was told that they will not repair my air conditioner at all and I have to spend my own money to fax the receipt back to the company since they don't believe that it is mine, and that they would send me a rebate for a new one. I asked how long will it be and she was clueless.
I don't like where this is going and am hoping to resolve something NOW.
