AKAI has not repaired my 42" PLAZMA after 18 months after purchase

I purchased a AKAI 42" Plazma TV from WalMart in July. As soon as we started using the TV, the control display would be on the TV screen at all times and would act crazy like it was controlling it's self.

We called the AKAI "customer service" and they had a local service company come out to fix the problem. After 2 service calls, the TV still was not fixed and this took almost a year to just get the two service calls to show up.

On the third call to the service company, they told us that they would need an authorization letter from AKAI to do the next service call because the TV was now out of warranty.

We called AKAI again and they told us that they would send the authorization letter over so that it could be repaired. That was in November.

Tonight, I called AKAI to let them know that we have not heard from anyone regarding our 3rd service attemp and they told me that they could not guarantee me that they TV would be repaired because it has been so long. I told them that the TV has never worked and that we have been trying to get them to get it repaired since 2 months after we purchased it. This is a very sad story...
