Ripoff, don't bother wasting your money on these scam artists!

The starter on my Hyundai Elantra went; a part I later found out was covered by my extended warranty. I discovered the problem when leaving work one night. Naturally I had the car towed to the closest dealership for the repair, but being that it was so late there was no one at the dealership to answer my questions. The dealership the car was towed to was not the dealership the car was bought from. Early the next morning the dealership the car was at called me and I told them to go ahead with the repairs as I needed my car as soon as possible. I asked if my warranty would cover the costs he informed me to call the dealership the car was purchased at, they in turn referred me to the 800 number for First Extended Services Corporation. First, FESC gave me a hard time about the dealership the car was at being within 40 miles of the original dealership. When I explained to a supervisor the towns may in fact be within 40 miles of each other, but the dealerships themselves were over 48 miles apart she agreed they would cover it, but only if paper work was submitted to them before the repair work took place. It took me 3 or 4 phone calls between First Extended Services and the dealership the car was purchased at to get to this point (once FESC even hung up on me and I had to call back) and by the time I frantically got a hold of someone at the dealership repairing my car it was too late, the repair had already been done and First Extended Services refused to cover the repairs because paper work had not been submitted to them. So this is a warning to others looking to purchase a warranty from First Extended Services, save your $1,500 because all they'll do is give you a run around. They are RUDE and can't be bothered to listen to you let alone have any empathy for your situation. Customer service obviously isn't a priority for them! It's like I explained to the lady I spoke with, I respect a company's policies and procedures, but the night my starter went it was 10 degrees out and my ONLY car wouldn't start, leaving me stranded an hour away from my home. There was no one to call and no one to explain to me what exactly my warranty was or who I needed to contact about it, let alone their policies. Learn from all of us on this website and under NO circumstances purchase a warranty from these scam artists who won't honor it and don't care your livelihood is at stake when your car fails!!!
