I am a current wireless customer with AT&T wireless for about 15 years. I always paid my bills on time and own as a business owner 5 cell phone lines. My personel phone now is broken. I went to a "AT&T" Store, which is now a Cingular Store and they tell me flat out the following: We can not service your phone, cause your service is with AT&T.
What happened to: welcome to the family of Cingular... Or... At&t... Or who is it now??? Anyway the personel at the Cingular store told me to call AT&T Wireless at 1-800-..., which I did and they answered with "Wecome to Cingular, how may we help you?
I thought I called AT&T? The solution for me would be to switch all my phone lines to Cingular, purchase all new Cingular phones and pay an approx. $18.- per phone line service fee to switch to Cingular. Welcome to the family... What a rip off!!!
