I/we are former A T & T Wireless customers and have been for many years. A couple of weeks ago, I went into the Cingular store in Longview because I was having problems with my cell phone equipment.in addition to having to purchase another cell phone, though I have insurance on the old one, I had to pay 18.00 migration fees because the salesperson said the the A T T equipment does not work on the Cingular network. They should have thought about that when they purchased the company.
The second complaint is that Cingular to Cingular calls are supposed to be free, but they are not. I/we have three separate phone numbers. We are charged for some of our Cingular to Cingular calls.
Cingular has a nice prosperous rip off going here. At this rate, they will recover all of the money spent to acquire A T & T Wireless.
