Layaway/Delivery Complaint Sears

Uses Layaway for a Nordic Trac Elliptical Trainer back in Oct. Set up delivery date and they have now called me the day before and say it has to be postponed. Very unclear as to why. Spoke with the store and they tried to blame Nordic Trac as well as increased sales for Christmas. Bottom line is that they said they had the merchandise in stock and now they don't. From other posts I have seen on-line this is a common deceptive practice. Do not order/layaway or shop at sears. It is now easy to see why they have been losing business. Also, when I called the delivery call center they would not tell me their location. That is probably because it is off shore somewhere. The person i spoke with was very hard to understand. This is another reason not to shop there. I know the store tried to resolve my issue but couldn't. Basically they are selling merchandise implying it is in stock but it is not. Find somewhere else to shop!
