Failed communication between the local sears and the sears delivery servce

I was informed by my local Sears in Elizabethtown, KY that an item that I paid for through lay away would be delivered on a certain day and that the delivery service would notify in which they didnt. I called the delivery service and they said the store did not show the lay away as being paid. I contacted the store they said that the issue was fixed and the agreed upon delivery date was still set for June 5th. Well that day came and went and no merchandise, called delivery service and they said the local store still had not updated system to show a delivery date. Spoke with a sears manager and he said the mishap was fixed. Well got a call from sears asking if I could do a delivery on a certain date and I said no will be out of town, so they scheduled me a new date. I just got a call from the delivery service stating they are going to deliver the merchandise on the day that I said I would be out of town. How crazy is that. So now the new date that sears told me they scheduled for me to accomodate now that date is not available according to the delivery service, now I have to loose a day of work to accomodate the delivery service. I have never had a problem with any company like this before. Sears corporation please take the custormers complaints seriously and fix these customer service and home delivery problems.
