Absolutely terrible experience at Tires Plus in Wausau, WI. I originally selected a set of tires online priced at $111.99 each and scheduled an appointment for two tire replacements. When I arrived, the employees told me I could get the same brand tires already on my vehicle for the exact same price as the ones I originally chose. However, after the service was completed, I later realized I had been overcharged by nearly $200 overall.
What made the experience even worse was being charged for services that were never actually performed. I was billed for valve stem replacements when I have TPMS, yet the valve stems on my vehicle were clearly never replaced and still appear to be the original factory-installed parts. I was also never given a proper breakdown or explanation of all the service charges before paying.
As a customer, it is extremely frustrating to spend hundreds of dollars expecting honest and transparent service, only to feel completely taken advantage of. I showed up to my appointment in my military uniform because I had to go directly to work afterward, and it was disappointing to feel disrespected and misled during the entire process, especially as someone who serves the United States. I will not be returning to this location and would not recommend it to anyone looking for fair pricing, transparency, or trustworthy service.
