My parents bought me my HP Pavilion Laptop in October. I did'nt begin even using the laptop until late Novemeber. They bought it from a Costco in Scottsdale, AZ and I was so excited for it! Unfortunatly, the customer service and the product itself has been nothing but trouble from the moment I initally turned it on. I started noticing the fan was a lot louder than my old Toshiba laptop. It didn't bother me too much but by the beginning of this spring, every time I'd turn on my laptop the fan woul dbe so loud, it literally sounded like an airplane taking off. It is almost july and after countless calls to customer service, and getting it repaired twice, the issue pesists. Everytime I call the custoemr service, they keep me on the line for around 2 hours... Everytime! Running diagnostic tests that I tell them have already been done. Im a student studying in Paris and these phone calls cost me a fortune! HP has basically told me that since Im not in the states, they cant do anything, even though I have an international warranty! I have been encouraging my family, friends and fellow students to stay away from ALL HP products. What junk.
