Panther Car Wash
Scrated up me car, can't get in touch with owne

I used the Panther Car Wash on a Friday evening, bay #5. The next day, the bright sunlight showed me all the swirling scratches I had ALL OVER my new black SUV. I immedietly drove over to the car wash and there was a man named Lee, an older guy with glasses, who had the service door open. I approached and asked if he was the owner. He said he wasn't. I asked for the owner's contact info and he asked me what the problem was. I brought him over to my vehicle and showed him all the scratches.

I explained that i would try to get the scratches off with buffing and wax but wanted their help if I could not get them off. I'm not some sue happy person. I only wanted to wash my new car and was unpleasantly surprised when I got a clean car with scratches. I just want it taken care of. The sun really shows the scratches well and you can feel them with your finger. He said it was sap build up (a 6 month old car... Really.) and rubbed a little bit on the hood with his finger and said the scratches were coming off. I looked to see if they were coming off but they were not. I told him that the scratches were not coming off and that all I see happening is dust moving around. His vision was either very bad and maybe it looked like they were coming off from his point of view or he wanted me to believe they were coming off even though he knew they weren't.

He then got very angry and rude when I said I still wanted to contact the owner. He said that HE was going to call him and say they he looked at the car himself and that there are NO SCRATCHES! I told him he needed new glasses then because they ARE there, and not coming off with his finger. He gave me the number of some doctor which was a non-working number. I looked him up and found a different contact number and have not received a call back. It's been a couple of months now and I still have the scratches. I've tried wax and scratch fixers with no improvement. I will be sending them a letter and if there is still no response I will file a complaint with the BBB. Beware of this car wash!
