My husband took my vehicle (Lexus 330) to Laser Wash of Willis to have the love bugs and some scratches buffed off the hood and the front bumper. The gentleman buffed part of the hood and did a good job. Then he started buffing the bumper until he realized he scuffed the bumper and the paint peeled. He immediately stopped buffing, and informed my husband that he needed to talk to management about reimbursing us for the damages done.
Management agreed to discuss with my husband on 9/10/08. When my husband met with management, he said that he was not going to reimburse us for the damages, because the vehicle was damaged before my husband brought the vehicle to them.
Unbeknown to the manager, I took the vehicle to O'Reilly Auto Parts the day before asking what products to purchase to remove the bugs and scratches, so the salesperson came out to look at my car. I had to point out the scratches to her because she did not see the scratches at first. The vehicle was not damaged before taking it to Laser Wash.
The purpose was to have our vehicle buffed so it would still look new. We are very particular about our vehicles.
Laser Wash is not a business you can trust to do quality work, and management does not stand behind their work or guarantee customer satisfaction — not to mention the integrity issue!
