I guess uh huh doesnt mean yes Ripoff

OK heres my story ill let you be the judge. Two or so years ago i was looking for a ysed truck and i live close to this dealer so i decided to give them a try. At the time my credit wasnt all that good. Went in looked at a few trucks and finally picked one i liked. First mistake was talking payments, not price, strike one. Tried to get finacing but they wanted to much$ down. Heres where it gets a little complicated. Ihad a trade that was in someone elses name that was worth $5000 and was paid off. WE decided to put the truck in this persons name to save money. So finally got a tenitive deal done. So i went back and forth on the phone with salesman and finace guy. The salesman called me and said he had everything done and gave me the price, well THE PAYMENT. I punched the numbers into a calculater and it seeemed i was paying right at blue book for the truck. I said great my wife and father in law will be in friday to sign. Then i asked him one more question "thats for 48 months right? HIs answer was uh huh kind of under his breath. Told my wife and father in law to go sign papers which they did. Surprise for me when i finally looked at the paper work the term was 60 months. I Should have done somthing right then but it was almost embarressed that i was taken. So basiclly i lost $5000 in equity i had in my car and i overpaid P00 for the truck. Let me say i know a little better now. And i will never take uh huh for yes again
