I purchaced a 98 Dodge pick up from them about 3 years ago. I wasnt getting credit on the truck so i decided to buy a lesser truck so i could build my credit. I was out of town when it was time to turn my truck into petrie. So i had my mother and her boyfriend take it back and sign all papers. They read through all the papers needed and signed them. But my mother wrote on the papers that the truck could NOT be reported as a repo. They signed it with what she had wrote on there. So its about 3 years later and i went to get a new truck and they came back and told me i had a repo on my credit. They told me it was from Petrie. I then went to the Petrie delearship and asked to see the papers of where i returned the truck. They supplied me with the papers that had my signature on them. But i was over a thousand miles away when those papers were signed. And there was no information on when the truck was turned in.
I think that they need to take the repo off my credit. I dont have the papers where my mother turned it in but i do have a paper from petrie saying that i have made all payments on time dated 2 weeks before the truck was turned in.
