Ripoff lied cheated dishonest misleading, very deceptive businuess practices

Talked to salesman over phone about truck I wanted, told him I lived in Dallas about 1.5 hours from dealership, told him If we can do the deal great if not no loss. He called me back told me to go online and fill out credit application, I did so. Got A call in less than an hour that I was all approved, they had a truck in my price range with the options I wanted.

I repeated the fact that I was 1.5 hours away and really wanted to make sure they had the options I wanted at the payment I could afford, I was assured that both the truck with my options and payments were no problem just come on up.

I loaded the kids in my vehicle and started my 1.5 hour journey the wife asked me to call and verify that they really had what I wanted at the price we could afford and make sure it was not a lease so I called one more time and was assured no lease, they had the truck I wanted and the payments were wnat we agreed upon.

We make it to Premiers dealership and are greeted by name, I thought wow maybe they are on the up and up, they showed me a few trucks with none of the options that were discussed previous, when I mentined this he took me to a truck with all the options and more, I thought wow we are finally getting somewhere they told me I would need about $5000.00 down about $2000.00 more down than discussed on the previous 3 calls but doable, then the payment went up but only by about $50.00 a month still doable, then when we go to sign paperwork and are discussing terms they tell me it is for 48 months I do not understand how they can get payments so low at 48 months and I keep probing after much probing it is admitted this is a lease.

They were trying to sneak me into signing a lease, this after a phone discussin telling them no leases and also telling them face to face when I first arrived.

I walked out on them and will never do businuess with again and as I work in the auto trade dealing with aprox 20 customers a day I make sure to tell all these customers how they tried to deceive me and sneak a lease in with out me knowing.

All in all I only lost about 5 hours of my familys time, and a tank of gas but think about all the people who are probably getting deceived into signing lease paperwork. Very bad trying to deceive on something that is so exspensive..
