Money goes missing (stolen) in Citifinancial

As a regular Citifinancial customer for almost two years I ran into a problem. Though I am aware of their high rates and interest I borrow a loan in need because of being a student at the time. I was making payments cash and dropping it off on their drop box, since I work long hours and mailing in the payments do not arrive on consistent time. I've been dropping cash for almost two years and suddenly one month my envelope goes missing and they give me a notice which I am late for.

I have a girlfriend as a witness and also money which I withdrew on that day to make several payments on bills. I told the branch manager about the situation and he doubted that anyone will take any money.

After telling him I was going to make a police report he said he would contact his district manager and see what he could do. He told me the best thing they can do is give me a deferment and I wouldn't have to worry about anything going on my credit report, which was my main concern. We both agreed on the deferment. I still lost that month which I actually left the money on the drop box.

I decided to do direct payments out of my bank account, something they never mention, only until I ask about it. A month later my first direct payment goes through but they keep everything as interest, telling me it was for the month I miss.

I had the branch manager tell me not to worry about that month because of the deferment they gaved me. So I ended up losing that month which my money got stolen from their drop box and hard to believe they dont have any cameras at all and also this months payment because of the miss month which I thought we agreed on all to interest, which they tell me accumulated. It seems very unfair that I have miss two months because of someone working in their facility.

Funny thing I forgot to mention, when I gaved them a call the branch manager was holding a job fair to hire new employees. Something must be going on there.
