Merchant Lynx came into our establishment and persuaded us into believing his company Merchant Lynx could save us thousands of dollars annually on credit card fees for our customers. We decided to try M. L and cancelled our contract with Nationwide. The man took our credit card machine and said Merchant Lynx needed to use their own equipment. This was equipment we owned and worth about $2700.00. He left no paperwork or receipt for the equipment he stole and he was gone in a hurry.
Week after week, we noticed charges on our account that weren't adding up. There was never a batch report that was accurate, each day was at least a few dollars short. I tried at least 5 times to contact M.L. And their customer service department put me on hold sometimes as long as 40 minutes. After finally getting through one day, I was asking for info on my M.L. Account and the customer service rep gave me phoney info and I finally gave up after persuing them for about 8 hours total. I tried calling supervisors and managers at M.L. And found all voice mailboxes to be full and my calls were never returned.
I'm going to pursue a Class Action Lawsuit with the Attorney General and anybody interested in joining me is welcome.
