I have solely owned and operated my service based business for seven years. I have always excepted credit cards as payment. I have only ever used one company.
I was asked by phone if I would be interested in saving money by comparing my monthly fees with Merchant Lynx service fees.in a few days a man by the name of Michael Thompson (senior advisor) came to my business and only asked to see my current monthly statment. Oh yes! He said, We can save you $10 even $20 a month. I sat with him as we filled out an application. He told he would waive the application fee and I would not have to do anything else they would take of cancelling my old service.
I owned my credit card machine so all I did was call and they programmed it over the phone. I ran my business as usual.
Until I began getting billed form two companies. I tryed to cancel my service and was informed by letter that by cancelling my service with Merchant Lynx Services
my checking account would be debited $350.00 plus $10.00 a month for the remander of the terms of this contract.
I feel that the company and employees totally mis lead and misrepresented itself. And now I being charged two and three times for processing my credit cards, plus other fees. I can't get out of it. I feel completely ripped off and there is nothing I can do about it.
