Originally got a credit card with providian ($900.00 balance owed), providian sold it to midland credit management / who in turn sold it to cohen & slamowitz / who used their own collection company - Metro portfolios - to do their collections - cohen and slamowitz filed for a judgment / garnishment of my wages - received in the amount of over $2400.00 for Metro portfolios, and over $2300.00 for midland - garnishing my check each week for 20% of my gross wages - they basically made a 600% profit off my original debt. This must be illegal it reminds me of a pyramid scheme. Yet one they have a judgment against you it is almost impossible to stop the garnishment.
