Dear Daniel,

Thank you for your inquiry dated 1/16/08 regarding the hold on the deposit. We will be happy to assist you.

Please note, currently there is a hold in the amount of $922.64 in place against your available balance. Your funds will be available on 1/22/08 by 5 P.M. Until the hold expires and is removed from the system, the
held amount is not considered to be available for payments of items or withdrawals.in general, on the first business day after the date of the deposit, you will be able to withdraw $100.

Also note, holds are placed on checks deposited to protect both our customers and the bank from losses in the event that a check is not honored or is returned unpaid from bank on which it is drawn. The bank
follows the Federal Reserve hold guidelines, which were designed to provide time for the check to reach the paying bank and to be returned in the event the check is unpaid.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. If we may be of further assistance, please contact us again by e-mail. We value you as a customer and appreciate your business Thank you for choosing Bank of
America.

Sincerely,

Raul Norman

Message text: Please remove the "hold" from the $1022 check I deposited on 1/13/08. You should be able to verify availability of these funds via an electronic communication with Washington Mutual, IMMEDIATELY, at no
cost to Bank of America.in the age of high-speed internet transfers, your holds represent nothing more than a usurious fraud.
