I also got a call for a credit card for $3000. I was told I would have it within 15 days... Did not receive the package till 25 days and what I got was not a credit card. They called it a stored value mastercard. I called and demanded my money back and told them that I was going to report them to the BBB of New York. They informed me that I had to call back in 2 days to hear my recording, which I had no problem with, since I know what the woman, Judy Stone, had told me.
They called ME the next day and after fighting with the man, he said I could have my money back. He said to send the package back, which I paid to do, and to call back with the tracking number and they would refund me my $299 within 14 days, which I did call them with the tracking number. I did also report them to the BBB of NY like I told them I was going to do.
They called me 14 days later to tell me that since I had reported them to the BBB, that my refund would have to go through the legal department now and I would probably get my refund by February. The man called me stupid and told me it was my fault that I was going to have to wait for my refund and that he didn't care about my opinion of the company. I told him I would get my money, even if I had to sue them. I am in contact with my bank, which has already told me that I couldn't get my refund back due to the way they took the payment out (Clearing House) due to Fed. Regulations E.
I called them back today because of the information I got off this site and told them they will get me my money back or I will contact them to the Banking Commission of WI. I did also contact the company again and am waiting for a call back. I did also contact the Federal Reserve Bank of NY and am waiting for a responce from them about this company.
I hope no one falls for this scam and that this company is SHUT DOWN for good. Good luck to all in getting a refund. If you do get your refund, still report them to the BBB of NY.
