I recieved a very convincing letter stating that I won a cash prize of $677,519.00 which I would recieve upon receipt of my response.By responding you are asked to send a "processing fee" of $21.95 by check, cash or money order.
Luckily, I found this site the day after a sent my response, so I was able to stop payment on my check before they will recieve it, but I still paid $13.65 to send my response by express mail.
I wouldn't have even believed the letter had I not just entered a drawing with publishers clearinghouse sweepstakes about a month ago. I thought s.I.R.S. Was affiliated with publishers clearinghouse.
If you get something like this DO NOT respond, it is a hoax. Now they have the routing number and account number on my husbands check. Lets hope they aren't smart enough to do anything with that.
