I bought a microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and stove before Christmas. They were delivered end of January. Every single appliance has needed to be fixed and the stove, dishwasher and microwave still do not work. I paid thousands of dollars for 4 brand new working appliances and after 3 months still do not have what i paid for. Dealing with the service has been a nightmare. It takes weeks to get an appointment and then they don't show. When they do they have to order a part and it takes another 2 weeks. The microwave needs a charcoal filter that was not in the box. As a one time $5 good will gesture Sears offered to send me a charcoal filter free of charge to be delivered March 8. This did not show and we received no call about it. So now I have to reschedule that too. After spending $5000 with Sears in the last few months a $5 good will gesture that never shows is hardly enough to keep me as a customer. I also received a call asking me to pay an additional $400 to get extended warranties on the appliances. This should be offered for free given how much trouble we have had. The warranty only means something if the service is decent. I was shocked at the poor quality of the appliances and service. I really did expect 4 working appliances. I want Sears to stand by their products and service and make this right.
