I had been a faithful client of DirecTV for over 2 yrs. About halfway through my agreement, I improved a typical reciever to an HD one. I had been not informed this might reset my agreement.
I chose to change to AT&T U Verse because of greater price and performance. After I named to stop my DirecTV consideration, I had been ultimately informed that I still had 14 weeks on my "new" agreement, hence could be billed $280 for early termination.
To create things worse, I had been handled quite disrespectfully with a customer support boss. Their title was Mark and he ostensibly would not shut-up long enough to I'd like to clarify my aspect of the tale. It'll be very hard to come back for this organization for support.
