I moved into a home in michigan. When i set up my new account with directv they did it quickly and set an installation date. Within minutes of me hanging up, they called back and said until the past bill from this residence is paid they will not hook up my new service. So now im the one they think is gonna pay another persons bill. Bad enough they go after everyones credit but they are also goin to go after the address? I dont see how they can legally refuse to give someone service because another person that lived here has a bill still... Thats not my problem that they didnt pay you. Directv sux ass and has to be doing something illegal here...
