Directv is horrible and I will never recommend them to anyone! I am sitting here in disbelief I even thought to give them a second chance! The first time we had them we would always lose signal and we went two weeks with no tv at all at one point. Then they overcharged us two months in a row for God knows what. Then they raised our bill without any warning. The only thing I liked about them was we had an inexpensive bill (at first) while having 3 DVRs. Once we moved I thought maybe being in a new area we would get better service. We signed up for the same package as before but with one more tv box. When the cable guy came, he had no idea what boxes he was even supposed to be hooking up. After he left we realized he didn't hook the right ones up! When I called directv they pretty much put the blame on me and said all they could do it give us one dvr (we were only given one, not four) and that's all they could do. We are stuck in a 2 year contract with a service we didn't even sign up for. Do NOT sign up for Directv! I promise you will have issues!
