On April 24 my internet was not working. I contacted Time Warner and was told there was an outage in the area. Within 24 hours the internet was back up and running. On April 30 the internet was down again. I contacted Time Warner and they set me up an appt to send out a tech. He arrived the next day. He told me that the problem was not in my house or with my modem but with the box out by the street. That the lines were corroded and needed to be replaced. He told me he called in a lineman. The lineman had not showed up several hours later so I called Time Warner back. Was told they would check into the situation and call me back. No call back. I called them again an hour or so later. Was pushed up to Tier 3 and told there was a work order in place.By 9 pm no lineman had shown up. Called back and was put through to a customer service rep. Was told we were then next service call of the night. Told customer service rep that I would just stay on the line with her until the lineman showed up. She transferred me to a customer service supervisor. Was told there was no lineman coming and that I could schedule a in house tech to be out on the 3rd of May. I told them that the problem was not with the wiring in the house but at the box at the street. Was told they would have to come back in the house to make that call.in addition to this my neighbor is having the same problems. Was told the same thing. I live in the country. There are very few houses that Tine Warner is serving. I have come to the conclusion that it is too costly for them to fix their faulty equipment than to have me be a satisfied customer.
