New customer install - contacting customer service

I ordered cable and internet service on June 20 for Service In Clayton Ny. My bank account was charged right then for my first month of service. My install date was June 28 between 8 am and 10 am. I was not told in the confirmation email or during the call the day before my install date that the tech would call the day of install. We were moving that day, so we had our 20 yr old son stay at the new apartment to wait for the tech to come. I saw a missed call in between moving furniture, and saw it was 15 minutes prior to me checking my cell. I called time warner and the rep said install would have to be rescheduled to July 8! I was highly upset and demanded to speak to a supervisor. After waiting on hold for 45 minutes (all while trying to move) a supervisor cam on, I told him what happened and he said someone would be out but it was an all day appointment. So our son had to stay at the apartment instead of helping us move. It was almost 5 pm and still no tech. I call timewarner customer service and got a recording that my service install would be between 7 am and 10 pm. At 4:50 my son said the tech was there. Shortly after he called and said the tech couldn't do the install because he didn't have the proper equipment / tools and we would have to reschedule. I called time warner again, spoke to a rep who rescheduled to now July 9! I was extremely upset and demanded to speak to yet another supervisor. Wasted another hour on the phone only to have the rep come back on and tell me he would have a supervisor call. They never called back. I have NEVER seen such horrible customer service! I have already paid for a service I don't have. I wasted over 2 hours of my time on the phone dealing with this. I should not have to wait over a week fir my install Time warner should have sent someone competent or at the very least, with the proper tools to do the install - instead they don't send a time warner tech, they send a contractor (when a time warner tech was right down the street. This issue needs to be corrected. How dare time warner take money for a service that I won't have for over a week.
