Expedia offered same hotel room at $25.00 less, the hotel offered less expensive room.insurance claim denied with doctor's letter and records

I booked two rooms through Priceline.com name your price. I was expecting a much nicer hotel than a LaQuinta for the price I named. I also paid for cancellation insurance, which did not specify any illness that would not be covered and in fact stated even pre-existing conditions would be covered. I have history of anxiety and panic attacks, well documented in my doctor's records, including medication prescribed. When I learned that the G20 would be meeting in Pittsburgh, with protesters and high security, I was too "panicked" to attend a wedding there that weekend so I cancelled my trip and filed claim for reimbursement, complete with doctor's documentation. I received a letter from MercuryUSA, the insurance company offered by Priceline.com denying my claim that anxiety was not a covered illness. I also later learned that a room at this same hotel was available through Expedia for $25.00 less per night AND even the hotel itself charged less than Priceline.com. Priceline.com is a total RIPOFF.
