I was traveling from Philadelphia back to Denver on US Airways, basically because they had the cheapest tickets. Well, I guess you get what you pay for because my $1999.00 mac laptop got stolen straight from my checked baggage.
I called TSA, I called US Airways, I even filled a police report in Philly and NOTHING. They don't cover stolen laptops... Of course. I checked the web looking for people who had been in similar situations with this airline which is were I found rip off report.
I am amazed at how many people couldn't help me within the airlines. I was just consistently transferred over and over again from one operator who couldn't help me to another. This is an airline that nickle and dimes you for everything from an extra bag to your lunch on a four hour flight. Yet, they can't replace my laptop. I have used them throughout my college career and my loyalty has been replaced with sheer disgust at their unwillingness to help people who have obviously been robbed by their employees!
