We just stayed here for two nights on the way to GC. The location is great - central to all things you want to do in Sedona. However, for the price, the rooms are extremely disappointing - very much in need of updating. Found roach spray can in closet (Either comes standard with dirty room or was left behind by previous guest).
The staff is also in need of an attitude change - I felt that we were treated badly because we were not a timeshare owner and not interested in becoming one.
We paid full price for the room, but I feel we could have done better for the money. Keep looking for another hotel in Sedona.
Also, when checking in, we overheard two separate timeshare owners complaining that they could not get a reservation at the resort and we just walked in the front door and rented a room for two nights. They tried to get us to stay for the entire week, but we only required two nights. We did not call ahead for reservatons and concluded that the management is blocking out the owners and pocketing the rental income while letting the owners pay the maintenance on the resort and rooms.
