Those of you who have the misfortune to have service with comm south know what I'm talking about. When you are able to get thru to them, and I have waited up to 2 hours on hold for a representitive, they are rude, sound like a robot, and very unhelpful.
I had some static on my phone line and needed some asst, and they refused to even talk to me until I went to pay my bill, which I was trying to dispute due to them billing me for collect calls that I did not recieve.
When you have comm south you are not able to set up a long distance acct, nor are you able to recieve collect calls. I know, I work for a phone co, and it is clearly stated in the info comm south provides.
After writing a letter to the po box they gave me to complain about the treatment I recieved, and to find out why I was charged for collect calls, someone called me at 7am a few weeks later, and as I work late into the evening I asked her to please call back after 9am.
Never heard from them again. I am now sending another letter to the so called po box to see if anyone will call me back... As soon as I can I plan to discontinue the service. I would rather go without a phone than deal with this shady, rude, and understaffed co.
