Approximately 24 years ago we purchased a "top of the line" washer and dryer from Sears. We have continued paying extended warranty fees all of these years. Last year, Sears was forced to honor this contract in regards to my Washer and they reluctantly replaced same with comparable current model. However, when this years contract came up for renewal, Sears debited my credit card without first calling to verify authorization and eleminated the old dryer from the contract. This was done without ANY authorization from anyone and was not discovered until this past week (7/16/04) when I had to call Customer Serice for the dryer. Surprise! No warranty serice. Service call: $99.00
Do I have any recourse to the above sneaky, basically dishonest action taken by Sears??
