I had an Internet problem and called the usual AT&T number for help (1-877-722-3755). After having me do all the things I had already tried, the rep told me he was going to put me up to a higher service.
Hold time was long and I kept wondering what was going on. He then had a solution. Pay $15.00 a month for one year.
Well, not realizing that the charge would appear on the phone bill, I said okay. At this time I was desperate to get help.
I waited until someone else came on and it was another tech person. All the time, I am wondering why they hadn't asked for payment methods.
