MCi Worldcom wireless needs to be shut down

I don't know where to start with my dealings with WorldCom Wireless so I will start from the begining. I was not thinking when I recieved a call and was told that I could get a free phone and 100 minutes a month for $19.95. I was told that all I had to do was sign on for one year. So I did. Since then I have had nothing but problems.

The first bill arrived and there was no problem with it, so I cut a check and sent it in. A month later, I received my second bill, that stated I did not pay the first one. I called my bank and the check had cleared so I tried to call WorldCom. After holding for 45 minutes I was able to talk to a costumer service rep. Who was, at that time, I thought the most rude person I ever met. After I was called a lier and told that I never sent in the check I asked to speak to a supervisor. To my suprise, this person was more rude. The problem was never resolved during my very long year with them.

Before I signed on, I asked if it would be a problem changing the number because I was getting ready to move out of state. "There would be no problem doing that, sir." I was told. Well, when I moved I called them. Another 45 minute hold time after an hour of trying to just get through. For three weeks I was without service. I spent most of my time during that three week period on hold, being told that it is not a customer service problem, it is a tech. Dept. Problem, hold for another 30 minutes, the tech. Telling me it is not there problem, hold for another 30 minutes, customer service telling me the problem is taken care of and I will have service in 48 hours. Not having the service so I keep calling back and get the same thing. I ask to speak to a supervisor and am told that it is not a supervisory problem... And at the end they try to charge me for the three weeks that I don't have service.

These problems were monthly or tri-monthly depending on when they decided to bill me. Then my contract is finally up. My problems are over, so I thought. I cancelled my contract in Oct. 2001. To this day. I am still getting bills from these people. I am still on hold most of my evenings. I am told that I won't receive another bill again and again. I am still not allowed to talk with a supervisor. I am still being assaulted by the costumer service reps. This is a severe problem that needs to be delt with.

Here is another kicker. After I cancelled service and continued to receive bills, I just happened to check the back of one. They are charging me for a plan that I never signed up for. So if you still have service with them, that is something that you might want to look at very carefully.

The only truth that I was told by any employee of WorldCom was, "This is not a customer service problem." They were right. That is because they don't have customer service. I have talked to only one person who was friendly, he must have not had their training. The problem falls on management. There is none there. This is a company who should not still be in business. They don't care what we, the consumer, want. It is also an issue of supply and demand. Tell everyone you know about this company. Recammend, even insist, that they find another company to use. It is up to us to stop this problem...
