When I swtiched to AT&T broadband/internet/phone bundled service, my TV did not work. I called AT&T free help service and they couldn't resolve it. They referred me to ATT*CONNECTECH and they could not resolve it either. I had to have a regular AT&T tech come to my home to get it fixed. It took him 5 mins.
Then a $15 per month charge began showing up on my credit card. I didn't notice it right away, but called the number on my credit card statement when I did, in order to cancel the charges. The woman at ATT*CONNECTECH told me she could not cancel the charges unless I agreed to pay $90! I refused. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the woman hung up on me. Since then I have filed numerous disputes with my credit card holder, but the charges from AT&T CONNECTECH continue. Soon it will be nearly a year of this!
Whaever you do, don't let AT&T refer you to these fraudsters for ANY reason. They don't know what they are doing technically, and they are the very definition of ripoff artists. AT&T needs to grow some ethics and clean this mess up.
