I was having trouble with my PC. It was infected with a virus. I could have gone to someone on Craigslist to fix it I guess but decided to go to what I felt was a reputable company to get it done 'right'.
From the beginning they took my computer and asked me to pay $201 to have it fixed. Several days later I called them regarding the status of my computer and they said to give them a day or 2 more.
I got a call yesterday saying it couldn't be fixed. They told me to come to the store and get my refund. When I went to the store they said they had to charge me for the diagnosis so I was only refunded $101 of the $201 I paid.
This was not spelled out in the paperwork which I brought up to Mr. Rodriguez. He brushed that off and said that's just company policy. I'm retired and every $10 matters nevermind every $100! When a big company like Best Buy has to pick on retirees to flex their corporate muscle I feel that's taking advantage of the vulnerable.
I've spent thousands of dollars at Best Buy and this is the last penny I'll ever spend there. Beware of Best Buy!
