I brought a computer into the Geek Squad for repairs. I waited 3 weeks and then called the store to check the status of my repairs. I was told my computer was in but it was not fixed. When I asked why that was, I got a response of "I'm not sure why its not working but it just isnt" from a Geek Squad employee named Nick. He had no clue why it wasn't working and he is a "Geek Squad" agent... DO NOT GET A COMPUTER FIXED AT BEST BUY EVER!!! Therefore, I then asked to speak to a manager. Her name was Dana (Operations Manager). She had no farther information for me either. I did learn my computer was sitting in the back room for 3 days and I did not get a call telling me that it was in! This is not acceptable. Poor customer service. Dana then said there wasn't anything she could do but send it back because Best Buy's computers were down and she wasnt able to look up information on their computers... NOT EVEN THEIR OWN "GEEK SQUAK" NEERDS COULD FIX THE COMPUTER PROBLEM IN THE STORE!!! How embarrassing! After trying to demand answers from Dana, which being a store manager she should have come up with some answer, she couldn't tell me anything. I then proceeded to tell her "this is why this store has such a horrible rating and I won't feel one bit bad naming names!" She then told me to leave the store immediately for making terroristic threats! Dana, the store manager, is a idiot! That comment, in no way, is a terroristic threat! Best buy mannagers are very uneducated, especially this dana! This manager slanders me in the store and just shows how stupid she really is. It is horrible knowing a big store like this only cares about my dollar and doesn't even care about customer service. What DANA should have done was realized they were inept in fixing my computer and compensated me for my losses since that computer is used for business and NOT pleasure. BEST BUY IS A HORRIBLE PLACE TO SHOP!!! Dana is literally dumb and Nick doesn't know how to fix a computer and they both SHOULD NEVER BE IN A CUSTOMER SERVICE POSITION... EVER!!! Till this day I have not received compensation for my lost wages for my computer not being fixed the first time nor have I received apologies from any Best Buy representative, nor have they tried to fix the problems associated with Best Buy in Rogers.
