I initially went into David's Bridal to finish picking out my bridesmaids dresses. I was lured over to a table representing Lindelle Studios. Since I had not yet picked a photographer I thought this might be a suitable choice. My fiance and I talked with the representative and were shown beautiful portfolios. We picked a package that included a bridal sitting, an engagement photo session, a wedding album and two parent albums. Total cost $2,900.
In the next few weeks I tried to contact Lindelle about scheduling our engagement photo session. All I kept getting was a voicemail with a promise to return our phone call.in the end we never got one back. Then when I had picked up my wedding gown I called to schedule a bridal sitting. Again, voicemail with a promise to return our phone call. So annoyed with these minor details I decided to forget about the other photos and contact them about our wedding details.
Our photographer showed up 3 hours before scheduled time and neither I nor my bridesmaids were available as were still at the salon. She gave my mother a lot of grief complaining that we were late, when she was the one there 3 hours before the agreed upon time. When we arrived she snapped about 800 photos of me with all of my out of town guests but not one of them was me posing or the usual bridal looking photos.
After the wedding she took a total of 4 pictures of my husband and I posed in the snappy way she told us to. We then wanted pictures with our family on the lawn. She had an attitude about how long it took our grandmother's with canes to walk over to the lawn. She was rude and snappy the entire time we were taking our photos.
At the reception she had the nerve to ask me where she could sit because she was supposed to have a place setting and a full meal!!! Are you freaking kidding me??? She did not take ONE picture at the reception. As a matter of fact I have no idea where she was the entire time. Probably stuffing her face and drinking from our open bar! She then left early stating that she was only there for an alotted amount of time and since I was late that was her fault.
When I returned from my honeymoon I called Lindelle to complain about the horrifying service I had received. What do you know? All I got was a voicemail with the promise to call back that I never received. I was beginning to think maybe I was duped.
I was married in August and did not receive my sample photos until January. When I received them they looked like crap. I mean there were absolutely no photos during the ceremony, none during the reception, and it looked as if I used my dinky $150 camera to take the photos. Not at all like what was beautifully displayed to me at David's Bridal.
I picked out which photos I wanted in my album and which ones I wanted in my parent albums. I received a very prompt phone call telling me that the proofs were what were put into the albums and since some of the photos I wanted in my album were duplicates in the parent albums I would have to pay a fee of $20 per photo to have them copied!!! I thought that was part of the $2900 I paid up front! I was so appalled I just told them to forget the parent albums (which are not a standard sized photo and are smaller than a 4x6 so it makes it very difficult to copy them yourself) and send me my album. It finally arrived in February of the following year. I was just happy to finally be done with them.
I am so dissapointed in the fact that I do not have better wedding photos. I would never recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy! Save yourself the ton of money and the heartache.
