After pricing different photographers for my wedding on 6/29/06 I decided not to risk with some Jane Doe that was cheaper so I went with big company that was offered by David's Bridal that was for more money. (I didn't
want to have a bad experience and wanted good stuff). Well they show you these beautiful books and tell you that you will have the best and i ended on paying almost 2500.00.
I was promised two parent albums and a big one and all proofs to hang up. They wanted payment from 3 months before the wedding and ultimately paid in full one month before. After we received the proofs almost 1 1/2 months later they were not that great. It was confusing on how to choose the pictures and set up the albums which is when I started to call Lindelle for help. This is when I started leaving messages and got no answer. No one called me back, no one would answer, and then I decided to email them and once again I got no answer. I also tried to get David's Bridal to interfere but they said that they were seperate company's.
You might understand the disappointment and even sorrow for spending almost 2500.00 in a bunch of pictures in a little black box. That's all i had to show for it, and not even one album or answer for this.
Damage Resulting Now in May of this year, almost 2 years later through my uncle's wedding I realized that he was also offered Lindelle from David's Bridal and I said No way don't do it. Which is when they first got back to me
for the first time. After my uncle cancelled with them and told them why, i received a call from them. Where they let me know that it wasn't there fault and that shortly after my wedding in August (i believe) of 2006 the company changed owners. And somehow my order was ignored. They apologized and told me that they would get my albums for me. I was so happy although this has turned to be such a touchy subject for me. It's one of the best days in my life yet I have no pics to show for it and that hurts me.
Well they made me an appointment and I brought the proofs and they took my order for the albums. Now they tell me it's going to take 5 months for production, yes 5 months! Anyhow i said finally I am going to get my albums or so I thought. Until I received a phone call from Ilene yesterday on my SECOND ANNIVERSARY! Telling me that because of the delay in my order I am going to have to pay $840.00 in LATE FEES!!! To sum it up i was left in tears once more and now they don't want to give me my proofs back... help!
